The 5th GTC CW Cup is history and the participants' log checking process has initiated.

Below, you may take a look at the preliminary score ranking of the participants that submitted their log in time, for category B (SOAB/QRP), and of course, before QSO cross-checking, which has already started in order to have the final results available as soon as possible:

Dimitris, SV1JGW, has almost certified victory and winning of Category B' trophy, since no ranking changes are normally expected, to make "2 at 2", since in last year's 4th GTC CW Cup, he also won Category B', in his first appearance.
After that, his long-waited request to enroll to the Greek Telegraphy Club is considered certain and we'll be proud to have him onboard.

Following at 2nd place of claimed scores, is an old acquaintance and twice trophy winner of the venue, Nick, SV1CEI, who is threatened by Erich,TA3/HB9FIH, coming in really close at 3rd place.

Following are the relevant scoring rankings for the participants of Cat. A' (SOAB):

Mike, SV8GKE, frequent occupier of top rankings among GTC's and RAAG's events, ranks, once again, first in claimed scores of category A', just like last year, with a "safety" points margin from 2nd.

At 2nd place is Costas, SV4FFL, with a particularly ambitious effort,  followed by Stathis, SV5DKL, at 3rd place.

It should be noted that SV8GKE, SV4FFL, SV5DKL & SV1/SV2FWV, staffed the Club Station of GTC as well, so they could not participate full-time under their personal callsigns. Also, Andreas, SV2JAO, staffed SV2/SZ1SV GTC Club station and we deeply thank him for his support and operation!

Of course, final results will arise after log cross-checking and QSOs verification.

Until then,

We wish everyone to have a Great Result !!

On behalf of GTC CW Cup's Organizing Committee

Stathis Maliakis, SV5DKL
