C.16.4 QSL Buro:
Handles all matters regarding qsl card
traffic , to and from R.A.A.G.
QSL Buro handles all cards originating or
addressed to and from members of the
R.A.A.G. that have fulfilled their monetary
obligations according to article 6 of the
foundation statement.
QSL cards addressed to members that reside
permanently outside of Attica area are to be
sent with simple mail delivery or any other
proper means to the address stated by the
member four (4) times a year at max.
QSL cards addressed to members that
reside permanently outside of Attica area
may also be delivered in person to the
member or to any other authorized member of
the R.A.A.G.
Incoming QSL cards are considered to belong
to the same person and are to be handled
typically by the QSL buro when:
a. Contain the proper callsign of the member.
b. Contain the proper callsign of the member
and suffix stroke ( / ) like SV1.../M, SV1.../P, SV1.../MM, SV1.../2
e.t.c.
c. Contain the proper callsign of the member
after national prefix of another country
like ON/SV1..., DL/SV1... , e.tc..
d. Contain the proper callsign of the member
only to be different by the national prefix
like. SX, SY, SZ, J4 instead of SV.
Out coming QSL cards apart
from above (a to d ) should:
be shorted by sender, if a massive delivery is
to be handled and by the national prefix and
alphabetically like. 3A, BA, C3 etc.
QSL buro will NOT handle and return to
sender the following cases or QSL cards :
Incoming QSL cards that contain erroneous or
non existent callsigns and those
with special callsigns that differ in Suffix
than the typical ones like J41X
instead of typical SV1ZZZ.
Outgoing QSL cards that come from QSL Managers
and those that are addressed to countries or
any QSL Buro that cannot be served and
that are listed at a list in our
WebPages.
Cards with Special Calls like contests, events
etc are to be handled by the Buro after a
consensus of the Steering Committee that
will result after the evaluation of an
application form that should be delivered to
the secretary of the R.A.A.G towards the
Buro Committee with a copy of ham radio
license for the specific callsign.
In any case prior to handling such QSL cards
all the expenses that will arise should be
been paid according to the estimated fees
introduced by the Buro Committee.
I.A.R.U. recommendation and internationally
acceptable qsl card sizes are ι 90x140 (+/- 3)
mm.
QSL Buro is operating at R.A.A.G offices at
17:30 - 21:00 every Wednesday.
